i spent 4 days in shanghai before heading south to baise. the city is massive, 21 million people.
i visited a couple of international schools and watch them play some soccer. the schools are very nice. i am settling in here in southern china. the apartment seemed a bit rustic at first but after a day of shopping and getting used to all white block and marble structure, it doesn't seem too bad. business done in china seems quite different than in the USA, no teaching schedule nor definite time to begin the semester. i expect i'll get a call soon and get started. the weather still cold and no heat inside. supposed to warm up within six weeks (hope time goes by fast) now that i have successfully have gotten on bloodspot then maybe i can post more often.
Apartment looks good - maybe add a rug
ReplyDeleteAlright Brujo, glad it is all coming together. I am sure B-City will all be wearing blue and white captains gear before you leave. Keep us posted on what the Boss is doing in and around you.
ReplyDeleteHey Stevie-glad to see you're there and safe! It looks like you're about to buy sand by the pound in the store! I hope you're eating well! ha ha
ReplyDeleteThings are good here. Eddie has had a couple of good weeks. He goes back for MRI/chemo on March 3/4. Mom is well and planning her trip to Florida for Stu & Jen's arrival. Baseball season starts this weekend, so we'll be in San Marcos. Today in practice, Weston hit it over a 230 ft fence! He was so excited! The girls and Andy are good too. Rylee just got over being sick, but she's good now.
Love and hugs-Norma
